Music Production

I'll be updating this page with more songs that I feel proud of. I'm still fairly new to music production.

Phone Keys

This is the first ever song I've made that I feel happy enough with to feel that it's finished and good enough to share with others. The name is based off of the loudest segment near the end.

Nu Mixes

I classify these ones under 'nu mixes' as I've abandoned the 'popstar mix' and matching identity. These mixes, to me, are a massive improvement and feature a lot more variety while also each mix having a much more focused sound and aesthetic.

'DOPAMINE RUSH' - I made this set on impulse randomly one night before heading off to bed! Everything genuinely all just seemed to flow together first try and is probably my favourite mix so far. The music video is made using the Winamp music visualiser tool. And of course the thumbnail was created by myself.

'METALWORKS' - This one focuses on the aesthetic and vibe of 'metal'. It features a lot of metallic sounds, with genres like deconstructed club, drum n bass and cloud rap. The visuals are made/chosen to reflect this. The thumbnail art is created from an image of a motherboard and a sword. The video itself was made with videos found from the internet archive.

'NEWMIX' - this mix is mostly techno and EDM music. This one was really fun to put together at the time and is one of my most danceable mixes yet I feel.

Popstar Mixes

These were the first sets of dj mixes I ever made. Granted this is still a fairly new creative outlet for me, so these mixes especially are a little rough around the edges.

The idea behind the identity of this set of mixes is that they're supposed to be a mix of genres and sounds all mashed into one. All with the general idea of being danceable and fun to listen to. Hence being named 'POPSTAR'. I went for the matching names and visual identity to create a sense of unity between them all despite how much they all vary in sound.

You can find all of the other mixes on my youtube.
